From a young age Sophie Stonor was tutored in a wide range of the visual arts. Her family home was an early influence; extensive travel and the attainment of a diploma from the Inchbald School of Garden and Interior Design set in motion a career where quality and detail, originality and beauty became the by-words for her work.

She first joined the Whinney McKay Lewis Partnership in London as the sole interior designer. Working with 40 architects on a wide range of contemporary corporate projects, Sophie was in a unique position to learn the critical importance of the relationship between architecture and interior design. After becoming an Associate at WML she felt ready to set up business on her own, and has been doing so for over 10 years.
